Security is dull and boring. No, that's not what I think, but security is generally conceived as being a pain in the ass and boring stuff. Now there's a fun way to assess the security issues in your application! As part of SDL Microsoft release the Elevation of Priviledge Card Game. Using STRIDE as categories in the card game the cards are like this:

It reminds me a lot of playing planning poker. It's good to do secure development, it's even better to have fun while doing it! Need more information or download the cards ad the rules: you can find it here.

Thanks for the post! And nice insight on the origins. EoP was inspired by work by Laurie Williams on protection poker, which in turn was inspired by planning poker.
