One of the biggest and most underestimated threat for your security is human curiosity. This is easy to abuse: leave an usb-drive packed with malicious software nearby your target. One of the users of this targeted network will pick it up and want to see what is on the drive.

If you're not ready to ban all usb-drives (well… they're handy), maybe you should introduce a sheep dip in your network security policy.
