How to help open source without coding

I love open source (as you may have noticed). And of course I would love to contribute to the open source community. The problem is: I don't have that much time. I can't permit myself to commit coding on a project for a long time. But there are other ways to support the open source community without coding.

1. Using open source
The first way is quite obvious. Of course: use the open source software. Software is created to be used and by using the software there is a reason for the team behind it to work on it.

2. Talk about it
There's nothing more powerful that mouth to mouth advertising. So: talk about it. Why don't you download an illegal version of specific software? Why do you use an open source alternative? What do you love about this software?

3. Write about it
If you have a blog or other opportunities: write about the open source. It's quite similar to point two. You van even write something about your solutions on problems you experience with the open source software.

4. Other skills are needed
If you do have time to spare, but can't write code: there are more skills needed than just developers! Often projects need people to test the software, legal assistance, designer skills, etc. Just take a look and see if you are able to contribute!
