Lyrics for this Easter morning
Written by Division by Zero
Sunday, 24 April 2011 09:00

This Easter morning I couldn't help but to post a songtext. To me this is one of the best songtexts ever written. A song about sin, guilt, deception, forgiveness and light. There is power in frailty. This is what Easter is about. The lyrics are a song of Jars of Clay (Crazy Times, 1996).

Convinced of my deception
I've always been a fool
I fear this love reaction
Just like you said I would

A rose could never lie
About the love it brings
And I could never promise
To be any of those things

Chorus:

If I was not so weak
If I was not so cold
If I was not so scared of being broken
Growing old
I would be...
I would be...
I would be...

Blessed are the shallow
Depth they'll never find
Seems to be some comfort
In rooms I try to hide

Exposed beyond the shadows
You take the cup from me
Your dirt removes my blindness
Your pain becomes my peace

[Chorus]

...frail

Soft Season

Just ran in to this movie. Beautiful use of light, the feel of Autumn and good use of a Radiohead song (the only downside is the use of the American flag, but still share worthy!)

Crowd-sourced Radiohead live DVD

Radiohead, and/or their fans, created an "crowd-sourced" DVD. Strictly not for sale, but freely down-loadable. After a CD where you could determine your own price and an open source video this is really a next step. As a fan of open and free projects and as a fan of Radiohead this really makes my day! Go here for details and please help sharing the video!

Living without music seems like a nightmare to me. Luckily as long as I have an internet connection there's no need to be without music. Music services all around. Lately I've grown to like Grooveshark, a free online music streaming service. Give it a try!

I'm always looking for good alternatives. If you have any suggestions about services like this one, feel free to comment!

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. - Douglas Adams
