This is overreacting to a field trip to a mosque

Public school of home schooling. That's probably the choice in the USA (quite different here in the Netherlands). Apparently a public school took a field trip to a mosque. Nothing wrong there, it's a good thing to learn about different religions. I get that this went probably a bit too far for a public school trip, since religion isn't or shouldn't be part of these public schools, but the FOX news item is really prejudiced. Come on! That isn't good journalism!

A reaction like this is quite extreme in my opinion. If a Muslim kid went to a church and joined in prayer these people probably would see that as a blessing. If Muslims think in exactly the same way it is suddenly wrong? That's a double standard.

And a reaction like this? Well, that's just deeply, deeply disturbingly crazy. As long as there are extremists like this on the world, no matter what side, country or religion they're identifying with, peace will be far away.
