In February I wrote a post with my vision on evangelism. Last week I read in our newspaper about a research on the presence of churches on the web. Should we, as Christians, be present on the web? Is this a good place for evangelism? I'll answer this question in three parts: Why, How and What's next? Because my February post is rather short, Part 2 will contain a broader explanation. But first the why. Or better... is the Internet a good place for evangelism. Well, the short answer is: Yes, it is! The Internet is a good tool to reach people and connect. Especially these days of social media. This quality of the Internet is useful for a lot of things and one of these things is evangelism. More and more people are searching for ideologies to fit their own life philosophy. But where to look? Well the Internet is more and more the first place people will try to find some information. Being present on the Internet, as a Church or Christian, give searching people the chance to find you. This will give you the opportunity to connect to these people. More on that in part 2. Tags:
